Love & Scandal Pt. II

So, I didn't really delve into it in the last post because I was out of time, but I wanted to talk about Fitz. I know it's easy to place blame and judge if you aren't in the position he's in, and I hope I never am. He never went looking for her, and I don't believe people who are in his position in similar situations ever do. They never aim to hurt who they're with, most people don't intend on hurting the ones they love, or once loved. In his case, in my opinion anyways, he found comfort in someone who was there. Whether he found something in her he may not have felt/experienced with Milly in a really long time, or something else, he fell for her.
In normal situations, falling in love is one of the scariest, best things that you can experience. Lucky, he got to experience it twice, unfortunately, the timing was horrible. Milly is still in love with him, at least she thinks she is.
I feel so bad for him and anyone who may have found themselves in the position, because there's always a loser in the situation. In his, he let's Liv go and finishes his term and maybe gets another and has to live with his wife, who he fell out of love with a long time ago. Milly gets her man, physically, but his heart and soul are somewhere else and she knows, and has to live with the choices she made. Olivia throes herself into her job and watches the man she loves walk away when neither wanted to let go. Everyone loses.
